Liberty – Deckhand / Lifeguard

Hailing from the windswept shores of England, Liberty swapped cold-water surf and lifeguard towers for sunny skies, warm waves, and a good dose of Aussie adventure. A natural waterwoman, she came to Australia to teach surfing—but on her days off you’ll still find her out there, coaching girls to ride their first waves or fixing up battle-worn surfboards with the care of an artist.

Her love affair with boats started back home at the Royal Yachting Association, where she learned to handle everything from nimble dinghies to powerboats threading through tight marinas. So when she discovered Barefoot Charters, it was only natural that she brought her passion aboard with us.

Now one of our deckhands and lifeguards, Liberty is the spark that lights up the boat. With bright, curious eyes and a smile that makes everyone feel instantly at ease, she’s usually the first one down the waterslide—demonstrating perfect form, wild enthusiasm, and zero hesitation. She loves people, she loves the ocean, and she’s dedicated to making sure every guest has just as much fun in the sea as she does.

With Liberty leading the charge, Sydney Harbour becomes less of a backdrop and more of a playground.
